Classroom Boggle

I'm sure just about everyone has seen those sweet Boggle Boards on Pinterest.  I decided I wanted one in my classroom!  I thought it was such a great  way to include work work everyday as well as an easy way to have early finisher work  that was already ready!

It turned out great, it made that boring brown door look so much better!

I got the boggle letters and student worksheet from Rebecca at Create, Teach, Share.  Here is a link to download the Boggle Header and Rule Sign that I made if you want it!.

I changed the Boggle Rules a little bit for my students.  Instead of the letters having to be connected, for now I am just letting them use the letters to create words.  Maybe later in the year, I will change it.  Also, not only do the students have to find words, but the students also have to check and make sure that the word is actually a word using the dictionary.  Otherwise, I can only imagine the words that they would come up with!

Hope everyone had a great day! Hey the week is almost halfway over!

  1. I wanted to do one too! But with having a fall senior intern and then being out for maternity, decided it was going to have to wait until next year...let me know how it goes!
