I slept a total of 4 hours last night. That could also be part of my exhaustion. I must have been way to anxious about the day. Or maybe I was just scared that I wouldn't hear that dreaded alarm. Well, turns out I didn't need the alarm. I ended up being at school around 6:30 (school doesn't start until 8:00). Yep, definitely not typical behavior for me. I am glad that I made it there so early because it gave me plenty of alone time in the workroom to make copies and laminate all of the awesome downloads I got from my bloggy friends!
Check out our New Years Displays we made today, inspired by awesome bloggers out there. (The bare halls surely did need it with all the Christmas displays gone!)
Thanks to Selina at Classroom Magic for this idea! My kids LOVED it. They turned out so very cute!
Thanks Ms. Cupcake for this, "Ringing In The New Year" Activity. The kids resolutions were so stinking cute! I need to add the title display at the top. I just did not have enough time in the day!
It was a great day though! I did miss my little kiddos over the break and I think they missed me. I mean, they did have about a gazillion stories to tell me (as soon as they all walked in the door.) I love the students at this time of the year, third graders are so much fun!
On to other things. After spending the day in my cluttered and disorganized room, I am even more excited for the Clutter Free Classroom Project
I'll be posting more about it later, but check out the Clutter Free Classroom Blog to find out about the project! Everyone can always be a little more organized!
Well I have got to get some schoolwork done! Have a great Wednesday! :)
