Tall Tale Wheels

Happy Wednesday!   We are halfway done with the week!  Then a long weekend.  Yay!

We have been reading lots of folktales over the past week and half. I LOVE folktales.  The last two days we have focused on tall tales, my personal favorite.  We've ready about Sally Ann Whirlwind, Davey Crockett, Paul Bunyan, and John Henry to name a few.

I wanted to make something crafty, but still have the students examine the parts of a tall tale.  So I created a Tall Tale Wheel.  They turned out great!  The kids have really loved this folktale unit!

I've uploaded the template on my TPT Site. I have also included a list of great tall tale books to read with your kiddos!

As always, leave a comment if you download!  Follow my blog or TpT please.  I am always uploading free items!  I am almost to 80 followers!  You guys are awesome!
