Are YOU Smarter Than A Fifth Grader???

Whew...leaving at 6 this morning and not getting home until 9 (and being with children that whole time!?!). Talk about exhausting!

I had a fabulous day at school, my kiddos were loving their learning today.  They are such a fun group!

Anyway, after school, I joined some fifth graders for some fun! Our county had an "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader" Event tonight.  It's a great fundraiser from the Community Foundation.  Each school is sponsored by a community business and two of the fifth graders work with adults from the company to compete in the game show.  This is the second year of the program and our school has worked with PSNC, a gas company in our area, and they are some awesome people!

Well not only do just the two fifth graders who work with the adults go, but they need a cheer section too!  The kids made up their own cheers, signs and noise makers! They really get into it!

We took them to eat pizza and self-serve frozen yogurt a this new awesome froyo shop.  So good!

Well, our school didn't win, I mean who knew that John Smith was the first leader of Jamestown? (Well, I did but only because I used to watch the Disney Pocahontas movie like it was my job when I was little.)

I did get to see my BFF Elisabeth from Twins, Teaching and Tacos, tonight too! She was there rooting for her school too!

Of course we had to take a picture to put on our blogs! :)

Too bad I look exhausted (wait, I am)

Well, I have no awesome ideas to share tonight.  I didn't have time to make anything to share either.  Sorry guys! I have NO plans for the weekend. YAY! That means, I may actually have time to get some things done (which I will definitely share with you guys!)  I am also sorry if this post tended to ramble. Love you guys. Thanks for reading.

  1. Now about this policy. There's no such a thing as something you didn't take. If you have a level of English at all at zero level (checking it is possible on the paper writer service in the students' surveys and tests), you can't tell at all that you are like a student.

  2. you have seleceted a nice topic for the readers thanks for the sharing love to see more blogs from you.
