Economy 101 and a Freebie!

Whew, it's only Tuesday!

Which means, tomorrow is Wednesday.

Which means, the week is pretty much half way over.

We had a PTO Program tonight where my third graders performed with the Kindergarten students.  So cute!  They were so into it!

I have been spending the last 30 minutes or so looking at the archives on Hey Girl.  Man, I love that site.  Bonnie posted a video with Ryan Gosling talking about it. So funny. I may or may not have printed off some of the Hey Girl Pictures to hang up in our workroom.

I wanted to share my newest item on TPT!  I am pretty stoked about it.  I have been wanting to make a lapbook since I first saw one on Pinterest. I think they are so cool.  I wanted to do one for our economy unit to jazz it up a little bit.  We are about halfway done with them at school. I will definitely post some of their finished products. I love the little pictures they have been drawing and the examples they come with.  I love the lapbook process because the students are really taking ownership of their work.  Here is the sample I made.

You can download your copy of the lapbook at my TPT Store for just $2! It has 7 activities, vocabulary and definitions sheet, directions on how to create a lapbook, and directions for each activity.

Oh and of course, I had to give you a freebie! Here is the "I Am A Consumer" Accordion Fold Activity! :)

Hope you can use it in your classroom!

  5. Hey, I love this activity. I notice that on pinterest it says we can download a digital copy for $2 but when I click on the link that takes me to tpt, it says it's $4.75. Do I go to a different link to get it for $2. Thanks
