It sure felt like it today.
Spring Fever Maybe?
Testing Fever perhaps...
Whatever it is, I'm over it.
The only thing that helped me through the day is knowing that I'm leaving at 11:30 tomorrow and I won't be back til next Monday. Yay for a mini vacay!
Well, I love celebrating Holidays in my classroom. Probably a little too much for a third grade teacher. I think it goes back to my student teaching in Kindergarten. I just can't stop. Even when I taught 5th grade, I had to fit it in.
So, St Patty's Day is no exception.
I realized I hadn't done anything at all and St. Patrick's Day is next week! AHH! So, I had to get something green up on the walls.
Monday during our benchmark testing (don't judge), I got on TPT to find something fantastic and new to do! I found the Lesson Plan SOS. How have I been blogging for 4 months, and not know about them?? I found this super cute Leprechaun Lingo Adjective Activity! How cute is it??
Of course we had to have a girl Leprechaun.
He needed a Rainbow to accompany his leprechaun.
I call him Surgeon Leprechaun.
Meet Lumberjack Leprechaun.
Then I pulled out my file to see what I normally do (you know life before blogging) and it was seriously lacking. My stuff always disappears, I can never find anything! So I had to rack my forgetful brain for what we did last year.
Then I remembered that we did this super cute pot of gold writing, so I whipped it up last night.
Last year we added glitter. This year my class is banned from glitter. Don't ask.
My kids started on them today, but we didn't have time to finish, I'll show the finished products later! They look great so far though.
If you're interested in the craftivity it's at my TPT and TN Shops for $1.50. It includes the templates, 3 different writing prompts and a graphic organizer.
One of the prompts is "If I found a pot of gold.." So, I will give this to three people who leave a comment and tell me what you would do if you found a pot of gold. I'll choose three people tomorrow before I head for the beach! Be sure to leave your email! :)
