Wellll....about that.

In the words of Meg, "It is Monday and I have not made it!"

I had grand plans, but nothing got done.

I was gone for most of the week since I was on my little mini-vacay.

Oh, I don't think I told you about our mini-vacay.

You see, last Saturday, Mark said, "Let's go Somewhere!" I said, "HECK YES!"

So this girl got to searching on Travelocity and found a hotel in North Charleston for $52 a night! Yep, $52 a night!  So, being the poor teacher I am, we booked for two nights and went on our merry way the next day.

So we beached it up.

Walked around the Battery in downtown Charleston. (and feared for our lives because of the lightning)

Went to Fort Sumter.

And just had lots of fun in general.

So we wake up Tuesday morning and say to ourselves, "Do we REALLY want to go home?"  That was a no.

Sooooo, we booked another night.

We spent some more time at the beach and went on a Ghost Tour that night.

This was pre-ghost tour.

Then the next morning we say to ourselves, "Do we REALLY want to go home????" That was still a no. So we spent the 4th in Charleston too! We went to see fireworks on the Harbor and it was soooo pretty! But this homegirl forgot her camera two miles away in the car!

So....that is the story of our mini-vacay turned into a real vacay!  The best part, the hotel gave us the Travelocity price for the two extra nights!

Ok, anyways...

That was my main excuse for not having a Monday Made It.

Here's my other one.  Packing. Moving. EWWW

It's awful. I hate it. I feel like I do it every year.

Have you seen this movie?  It's sooo funny!

So, I'm officially moving this weekend.  Ugh. So maybe I'll have time for a Made It this week. Probably not.

Also, be sure to check out Misty at Think, Wonder, Teach! She is having a 500 Follower Giveaway! I'm helping her out with it! She has a ton of awesome prizes!

I think it ends today, so check it out fast!

I can't wait to read about everyone else's Monday Made It! Have a great Monday!
