Here are a few of the things we did in class to try to keep sane!
We had so much fun doing Nicole's Costume Fashion Show! It took several days, but we finished on Halloween.
We created a PhotoStory with their Fashion Show Scripts, but apparently I left the video on my flash drive at school. Boohoo.
We did some math from my Free Halloween Packet.
We surveyed each other about our favorite candy and created graphs.
We had some math fun with candy corn.
Both of those activities were free here. You can always use them next year! :)
We went a little batty too! We reviewed the difference between fact and opinion. Then we read
The students recorded facts and opinions on a graphic organizer.
I had a cute organizer made, but the copier was jammed when I went to make copies at the last minute. So I improvised.
You can download if for free HERE.
Then, they wrote paragraphs about Bats including facts and opinions. They wrote their facts in one color and opinions in a different color, using colored pencils.
Then, they created some cute bats from Teri's free bat craftivity! I love them!
We certainly had a busy day. Then it was Party Time, well "Celebration" Time.
Don't I just have the cutest class ever? You're probably thinking, good gosh, that's a small class, but I had three sweeties that were sick that day.
We even had witchy fingers! (Thanks to my Mama!)
We can't dress up at school, but I tried to look as witchy as possible!
I hope you all had a great fun holiday! Now, on to a busy November! Conferences, Election Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving! I'm excited for a fun month! :)
