Five For Friday (or Saturday)

It's time to link up with Doodle Bugs Teaching!
fiveforfriday
I have been on Spring Break, so this list is quite different!

1. I have had lots of time to update some of my earlier products, so be sure to check out my TPT Store! I've also been working on a big project that I started a few months ago! I'm creating foldables to use while teaching the Reading CCSS!  Here is a preview of some of the foldables!
I'm still working on the file, so what are some reading concepts you would like to see a foldable for?

2. We have seen some very pretty weather. I am so ready for the warm weather.  I love laying by the pool, wearing flip flops and dresses, and driving with the windows down while singing along to Justin Timberlake or Jason Mraz! This week was the first time I was able to unveil my toes and wear some flip flops!  Apparently my Kitty Alice likes the weather too!

3. Well, Thursday night I was driving home a lot later than usual. (Thanks Spring Break). It was raining and I saw this little cutie walking in the middle of the road. I just had to get him. He was very well taken care of, so I knew he had to belong to somebody.

Isn't he too cute?  My boyfriend named him Chico.

My cat didn't quite feel the same way. This was her reaction.
I walked in the bathroom and yep, she was sitting in the sink. She stayed there all night.

I only had Chico for a day. He actually belonged to someone that used to work at our school. So he's back at home safe. Alice is no longer staying in the sink.

4. I don't know if I have ever shared how crazy the members of my family are, but they are pretty crazy. Here is an example of my brother and his craziness. These "Scrubs For Sale" signs have been popping up around our city.  So my brother created a sign to accompany it.
I laughed for 10 minutes and I still laugh when I look at that picture.

5.   I have a special freebie for you guys!  You guys have been so supportive over the past year and a half. I wanted to thank you!

Since I have been on Spring Break, it has really made me so ready for summer, so it inspired me to make a summer themed set of task cards!  If you have never used any of my task cards, these can give you a little taste. Click on the picture to download from TPT or Click Here to download from Teacher's Notebook! I'd appreciate it if you left feedback if you enjoy it!

I'm going to try and enjoy my last two days of Spring Break. I hope you have a great weekend!

  1. That picture of the signs is hilarious. I laughed too.

My sister is currently living with my parents, and therefore, her cat Cho is also living with my parents. Whenever I bring my dog Molly up with me to visit, Cho goes into hiding. Usually under the bed, but that's because she's too fat to climb into the sink! It's hilarious watching the two of them- Cho hisses at Molly and Molly refuses to look at her! Cats and dogs are hilarious. I'm glad you found her owner!

  4. I also rescued a dog not to long ago. About a month ago when I left work I saw the cutest mini-shnauzer that was about to head out into a busy intersection. She was the sweetest thing! Her owners were Over the Moon when I contacted them just as I'm sure Chico's owners were.
Loved your task cards and will definitely be using them this week for review. I have a free set of Elapsed Time task cards that you might be able to use with your kiddos. (Elapsed Time Task Card)
    Love your blog...thanks for sharing!

  5. Lol, our kitty was always the same way with our dog- loved it :)

Btw, LOVING your task cards! My kids were so engrossed with your Springtime ones, I was all weirded out by the silence, they were working so hard :) Can't wait to intro this summertime packet as the weather gets warmer and the silence is harder and harder to come by ;)

  7. In this article, you give complete detail about the weekly work and give the valid reason why you did not post during a couple of days. But you give mind-blowing suggestions about the teaching methods and get australian writing service from us. Your work is so valuable for the people.
