May What?

It is May 1st! Can you believe it? I can't!  Crazy! So since it's the First Day of May, It's time to link up with Farley!

Listening-I am a TV addict and I love The Americans.  Maybe it's because of my love of Felicity. haha!

Loving-Enough Said. I miss my MacBook when I'm at school.  It's a big obsession.

Thinking-I just placed my final order for the Pampered Chef Party I hosted last week.  I spent way too much, but I got some great items at great prices because of host specials. AWESOME! Speaking of, I have a winner from my PC Giveaway!
Congrats to Jeanette! Thanks to everyone who entered.

Ok, back to the Currently!

Wanting-I love my class ya'll! They are so fun.  They are so sweet. They are such hard workers.  They are the type of kids you can joke around with and laugh with.  Today one of my kids said, "Ms Polk, how long have you been teaching? Because you sure are good at this!" I mean how adorable is that?  I would really like to move with these kids to fourth grade, but we will have to wait and see!

Needing-Enough said.  I need to stop eating out and get back to cooking!

Summer Bucket List-
1. I am going to Vegas this summer with my bloggy friend, Lindsay from My Life as a Third Grade Teacher, and I need a Vegas Body because I plan on spending lots of time by the pool. So, I need to stop eating out and work out a lot more!
2. That should say, lots of planning for next year.  I love being ahead of the game, so I want to do lots of planning. (we'll see)
3. I want to work on my extra bedroom and turn it into a cute little office and craft room!

Be sure to go and check out the rest of the Currently over at Farley's Blog!

One last thing. I just uploaded a new item to my TPT Shop.

My kids LOVE these "Color By Codes" PrintableSheets.  These are great for review, or practicing math facts, plus they are a ton of fun.  They are a great way to see very quickly if your students understand a concept. They are also great for early finisher work or math centers.  I hate to say it but at this time of the year, we have so MUCH paperwork and sometimes you need an independent activity that is still meaningful.

These cover third grade CCSS such as rounding, all types of equations, fractions, missing factors and more!
You can check them out here, or by clicking on the picture above.

I'll give away a set. Leave a comment letting me know what something from your summer bucket list is! You can leave a second comment telling me that you follow my TPT shop! Just click on the "Follow Me" Button at the top of the page.
Be sure to leave your email and I'll choose someone tomorrow evening! :)

  3. Pampered Chef products are the BEST!! We're stuck in a restaurant rut right now, too. But, after teaching and running around to my kid's activities after school, I'm just so stinkin' tired by the time I get home that I can't even think about cooking. Looking forward to the rest and rejuvenation that summer brings!

  20. On my bucket list for summer is organizing my school files/activities in a much more logical fashion. Some are perfect, but there's a huge section I inherited from the teacher before me that is still in disarray. I am eagerly waiting for time to go through all of it.
