About Me

My name is Amber Polk and I am from right outside of Charlotte, NC. I have been teaching for five years.  My first year I spent teaching Fifth Graders and for the past four years I have been teaching Third Grade. I love third grade more than I ever thought I would!   My favorite thing to teach are the Content Areas and then integrating them with Math and Reading.  I am a big technology buff too!

I love blogging, it totally makes me a better teacher!  I have to be creative....so I can blog about!  I am also completely Pinterest obsessed and stalk my favorite teaching blogs on a daily basis!

One day, I might have more of a life, but right now teaching takes up most of my time.  :)

  7. Hi! I came across your "Fun in the sun" worksheet on TpT and I love it! I used it today with my summer school students. I just wanted to make you aware that there is a mistake on the key. #14 is 3X3 since it has 3 boys making sand castles. Not sure if you caught that, or someone pointed that out, but thought I would let you know. Keep up the great work!

  11. Hi! Amber Polk, you are as nice as your name shows. I am also a teacher and I write an essay for me as a part time job. Though I read your profile very first time and I hardly read the blogs of any interest. But your blog is so nice, I like the innocent way you talked. Even I like the colorful blog page and your freebies. By now I will be one of your consistent viewer and want to tuned up with this blog.
